Liverpool will play their first game at home since Anfield’s main stand was expanded against Leicester City on Saturday evening.
The stadium’s capacity has been raised from just over 45,000 to 54,074, making it the sixth largest stadium in English football.
It's still got a way to go before it catches up with Camp Nou https://t.co/9IKeutBUg3

As part of the development, the famous Anfield tunnel area has been renovated.
The tight, claustrophobic tunnel looks unrecognisable…
Anyone know if the 'This Is Anfield' sign will still be present in the redeveloped players tunnel? pic.twitter.com/PavFK4dLbA

The famous Anfield sign remains, but the tunnel area is a lot more spacious and arguably less intimidating to opposition players.
Although the added noise within the stadium from the 8,000 extra fans should make up for that.
