A beautiful gesture from the club
Watford released their new kit this week, and to thank NHS staff for all of their efforts during the coronavirus pandemic, have got staff from West Herts NHS to model their kits for them.
The Championship club ended their kit deal with adidas early at the end of the 2019/20 season, and will start next season wearing an extremely interesting number produced by Spanish sportswear brand Kelme.
A tweet from the West Herts Hospitals Twitter account thanked the club for their gesture, saying: “The support we received from our neighbours Watford FC during the peak of the pandemic was fantastic – now they have literally given us the shirts off their back! We were buzzing when they asked Team West Herts staff to model their BRAND NEW KIT for the launch!”

Journalist and Twitter user @RookeryMike also revealed that the club provided kits, free of charge to volunteers who helped out at Vicarage Road during the pandemic-enforced hiatus from the football season.
Watford found themselves relegated from the Premier League for the first time since the 2014/15 season after a Premier League campaign during which they went through four managers. Hayden Mullins, the interim manager, remains in charge.
