These two are having a lot of fun stateside
They might might finished at the very highest level, but Zlatan Ibrahimović and Wayne Rooney are both very much enjoying the twilight periods of their respective careers in the United States.
Since moving to DC, former Manchester United captain Wayne Rooney has transformed the fortunes of DC United and become a hero among the fans. His heroic performances have seen the club rise up the Eastern conference, and last night was no exception. DC United extended their unbeaten run to five matches as they thrashed Montreal Impact 5-0, with Rooney bagging two of the goals.

Safe to say the DC United Twitter admin was quite excited about Rooney’s brace.
Meanwhile on the west coast, LA Galaxy welcomed the Vancouver Whitecaps to the StubHub Centre, and cruised to an easy 3-0 victory thanks to two goals from Zlatan Ibrahimović.
The Swede opened the scoring from the spot before doubling the Galaxy’s lead with an excellent solo goal. He also played a part in their third – winning a penalty that he unselfishly allowed Romain Allesandrini to take, and the Frenchman made no mistake.
