Or perhaps we just don’t understand the genius of the board
West Ham United have reportedly agreed a deal to sell youngster Grady Diangana to West Bromwich Albion for an initial £12 million, and it’s safe to say their fans don’t have a clue why they’re doing so.
Diangana spent last season on loan at the Hawthorns, playing 30 league matches and scoring eight goals as he helped the Baggies return to the Premier League.
West Bromwich Albion have agreed a deal to sign West Ham forward Grady Diangana for a fee which could rise to a club-record £18m.

Many Hammers fans had thought that the club would seek to hold onto the 22-year-old, especially given the side’s top scorer last season was Michael Antonio on 10.
Recent comments from manager David Moyes had also suggested that he was looking to build a team around young, exciting players.
Instead, the club have decided to cash in on one of their most talented young players and sell him to a side who may well be competing in and around the same league position as them next term.
Understandably, the transfer has gone done like a tonne of fucking bricks among West Ham fans, many of whom are already at the end of their tether with the ownership.
Below is an example of some of their sentiments:

Only last week we heard Haller suggesting he would link up really well with Diangana and could provide him with some goals..
Next breath Diangana being sold, not only that but for 12m rising to a potential 18m with clauses etc.
Get them out of our club.. #GSBOUT

I still cannot believe we are selling Diangana for £12m when Moyes said 2 weeks ago he wants to build a team & Mark Noble came out and said we need to keep these players.
Club is a joke. #GSBOUT

#GSBOUT I have spent months trying to justify your decisions but if the Diangana sale has legs then I am finished until the clowns are gone. Utter disgrace.
