It’s hammer time
West Ham have agreed a deal for Bayern Munich player Noussair Mazraoui as reported by Florian Plettenberg.
The deal is said to be worth £13m including add-ons amounting to £3.4m for the Moroccan right-back.
The agreement could be a huge coup for The Hammers who are currently leading Manchester United in the race to sign the 26-year-old.
Both clubs have been markedly interested in the versatile full-back who can play at left-back and midfield.
However, Plettenberg has reported that West Ham have a verbal agreement with the player.
The Moroccan was born in the Netherlands where he played for Ajax’s youth team before making the jump to the main squad.
He spent four seasons at the Dutch giants before making the switch to German heavyweights Bayern Munich in 2022.
Since moving however, Mazraoui has only featured 55 times although has an solid return of eight assists and one goal during this time.

With a transfer fee of up to £16.4m The Claret and Blues could be getting themselves a real bargain for a player with a market value of £25.3m.
This cut-rate price is likely due to Mazraoui’s contract expiring in 2026 as well as Bayern’s acceptance in moving the player on.
Mazraoui played a big part in Morocco’s incredible run to the World Cup semi-final in 2022.
Only the final financial details need to be put into order before the move is officially confirmed.
