Wojciech Szczesny kept Roma in the game during their clash with Verona with an outstanding double-save.
The Polish international is on loan from parent club Arsenal and at only 25 years of age is out to prove that he’s the long-term answer to Arsenal’s goalkeeping position.
Petr Cech may be the undisputed number one at the Emirates for the time being, but if Szczesny keeps this sort of form up, he’ll be pushing the new man hard come the start of next season…
