Yaya Toure is joining a new club, that much is sure
The former Ivory Coast international Yaya Toure left Manchester City at the end of last season and his agent Dimitry Seluk has been extremely vocal about the fact that he is joining a new club.
Seluk has recently decided to take to Twitter to update the football world on his client’s contractual situation. So far that has included confirming that Toure had passed a medical in London, as well as confirming that no – he would not be joining West Ham because he is a “champion”.
On Thursday he is up to his old tricks again, a day after Toure was linked with a move to Olympiacos.
Quoting one of his own messages on Twitter, Seluk said that Toure will join “a football club that played Burnley in August” and added an hilarious little emoji.
It's a football club that played against Burnley in August 🤔 https://t.co/eDGeI0EvFf

So, is it Olympiacos? Well, Burnley did play against the Greek giants last week, but the Clarets have also faced Fulham, Watford, Istanbul Basaksehir, Southampton and Aberdeen in August.
So, that’s settled, Yaya is off to Aberdeen. Should’ve known.
