Yoel Romero is a freak of nature and we mean that in the nicest way possible
Romero may well be the greatest athlete who has ever competed in the UFC and his fitness is currently being put to the test on the reality show Exatlon.
The programme pits athletes from different sports against one another in a series of physical challenges and Romero gave a terrific account of himself in the season opener.
Romero came from way behind in one challenge to claim victory against his opponent and tested his gas-tank against some seriously stiff competition throughout.
‘The Soldier of God’ shared footage of his performances on his Instagram page on Monday evening.

Having teased a jump up to light heavyweight after failing to make weight for his shot at Robert Whittaker’s middleweight title last June, Romero is now apparently staying at 185lbs for at least one more fight.
According to a report from Brazilian outlet Combate, the former Olympic silver medallist is due to meet Paulo Costa in the main event of UFC on EPSN 3 in April.
Cuba’s Romero was scheduled to fight Costa at November’s UFC 230 but was forced to pull out with an injury. Once the bout is confirmed by UFC officials, Romero will get the chance to get back in the win column on April 27 in Miami, Florida.
