Premier League defenders may be envious of Fikayo Tomori.
Diego Costa has been the scourge of the division’s centre-back since joining Chelsea from Atletico Madrid in the summer of 2014, proving to be as good at winding players up as he is scoring goals.
Opponents could be forgiven for wanting to take physical force against the striker, but they’ve been beaten to the punch by a Chelsea youth team player.
According to a report in the The Daily Telegraph, Chelsea youngster Fikayo Tomori accidentally broke the Spanish international’s nose in a recent training session. The incident reportedly happened on Thursday afternoon, when Costa and the 18-year-old Canadian challenged for an aerial ball, but the striker ended up worse off in the clash.
Costa then flew straight to Milan to have a protective mask fitted so that he could be available for this weekend’s game against Newcastle United.
