Robots are coming…and they want your job!
First they came for the supermarket cashiers, then the telemarketers, but where will these job-stealing automatons strike next?
Not wanting to scaremonger (like Stephen Hawking when he said artificial intelligence could end the human race) but machines are increasingly taking the place of people in the world of work.
With that in mind, NPR have come up with a test to show how likely it is that ‘bots will be replacing you at your desk in the future.
If you’re a roofer, a legal assistant or a tour guide it might make pretty grim reading.
But for anyone who is a chief executive, an author or (presumably) a person who builds robots then you can breathe a sign of relief – your jobs look pretty safe.
It’s probably time to start grovelling to our robot masters…
