The new Apple Macbook will do away with traditional USB ports, and have a fancy new touchscreen above its keyboard.
On Thursday’s Special Apple Event, Apple CEO unveiled a raft of new changes to the Macbook Pro – most notably the removal of the old USB port.
Instead, the new Macbook will boast four new points that can be used for USB-C, Thunderbolt charging points and more.

Also new to the Macbook is a touch screen bar that will live above the keyboard. This will display different things depending on what you’re using the laptop for.
You can even customise it to include your favourite websites (like JOE.co.uk), some predictive typing options and even emojis.

How do you top that? Chuck in fingerprint recognition. For the first time ever, touch ID is coming to the Mac to allow you to log in using your fingerprint.

Add to all of that, Apple promised us that this Macbook would be the usual “thinnest and lightest” of all time.
Apple also announced a raft of changes of Apple TV as well. As Tim Cook explained, Apple would be launching a new app just called ‘TV’ – similar to Netflix, the app claims to make the experience more ‘unified’, pulling info from all the apps you sign up to.
