We know well enough by now that mistakes happen when you’re writing stories online – but not all of them are as embarrassing as this.
A simple typo here or there can often slip through the net, as was the case in Sky Sports’ League Cup round-up on Tuesday night.
As you can see in the now updated match report, Notts County managed to defeat Huddersfield Town despite the dismissal of Gill Swerts…who was given a rather more explicit name in the original match report.
Whoever wrote that should probably read this.
