He’s ALIIIIIIVE!
Eight years after its original run finished, Prison Break is returning to TV screens later this year and if that on its own wasn’t the cause for enough excitement, a brand new trailer confirms the Lazarus-like return of the show’s principal character.
Seeing as it happened years and years ago, it’s not exactly a spoiler to say that the show’s lead character, Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller), supposedly died at the end of Season Four.
It would appear, however, as if rumours of his demise have been greatly exaggerated.
Michael is back in the new season and what do you know, he’s back in prison, in Yemen of all places.
After some clever detective work, his brother, Lincoln Burrows, discovers where he is and enlists the help of Michael’s friend, Fernando Sucre, to go and break him out.
Granted, there’s a lot to take in there but the trailer does a pretty good job of stitching it together.
When Prison Break might return to TV screens on this side of the world is as yet unclear, but the new season is going out on Fox in the United States on April 4.
