The latest conspiracy theory involves such a convoluted back story, it seems nonsensical for it to exist, surely they remember how we felt when ‘Lost’ turned ridiculous?

GoT geekoids, of which there are many, have suggested Jon Snow is not Ned’s bastard son, but is actually the son of Rhaegar Targaryen and Lyanna Stark and is therefore the rightful heir to the Iron Throne.
But he’s dead now, right? Well…
Theorists suggest Meera Reed, the girl currently with Bran, is actually Jon Snow’s twin sister and with this other theory about Jon Snow’s parentage, if Jon Snow stays dead, perhaps Meera will turn out to be the hero…
