They say that beauty is in the eye of the beer holder, but thanks to new research you can no longer blame pulling a 4/10 on the five pints you’ve just necked.
Researchers at the University of Bristol have disproved the theory, claiming that alcohol has zero influence on whether or not you find someone attractive.
The researchers asked participants to have a few drinks and then give marks out of 10 to a number of different faces.
The results discovered that there was no relationship between alcohol consumption and perception of attractiveness – with most people awarding the same marks even after drinking a skinfull.
