The next episode of Game of Thrones looks special.
Quite in the realm because Game of Thrones is back and it’s looking very likely that The Queen’s Justice is going to be a little bit special.
Right now, we’re sending a raven with a note that says ‘SPOILER ALERT!’ in massive letters.
Ok, we know that all eyes will be on Dragonstone as Jon Snow and Daenerys Targeryn will finally meet, but despite the fact that winter is here, things are heating up across the Seven Kingdoms.
There’s no doubting that Game of Thrones is entering its final stages because the Great War is coming, but despite Jon Snow’s best efforts to convince every house that their petty squabbling for the Iron Throne is ultimately meaningless when measured against the Nigh King’s army, it appears that the bid to usurp Cersei will dominate proceedings.
As per the last episode, we’re pretty certain that the Queen will be absolutely delighted to learn that Euron Greyjoy’s wedding gift is in fact her sworn enemies Ellaria Sand and Yara Greyjoy.
The shape of the war to come is getting clearer now as an alliance of Dany, her dragons and troops will fight alongside the Houses of Martell, Tyrell and those loyal to Yara Greyjoy.
As for the Lannister side, they’ve already got Euron Greyjoy’s fleet, but as Stormborn showed us, they need more houses.
Cue Jaime’s desperate plea to Randyll Tarly, Sam’s father, and the other lords of the Reach to recommit their loyalty to House Lannister. In return, the Lord of Horn Hill was promised the title of Warden of the South – in the event of Cersei defeating Daenerys and maintaining her position on the Iron Throne.
Well, grab your weapons because the only man that beat Robert Baratheon in combat will be fighting alongside Jaime Lannister.
This could be very special.
Tonight.
