Have you ever seen a film that’s just perfect for watching when you come home from the pub and stick on the TV at 2:37 am and are in need of something mindless to watch?
Kung Fury, Kung Pow! Enter the Fist, Iron Sky, Machete, The Greasy Strangler and countless other films all fit that perfect that time slot, but Dead Snow is one of the best.
In case you you haven’t seen the 2009 original then you’re in for a treat.
A party of eight Norwegian medical students travel to a remote Arctic mountain for an Easter weekend filled with skiing and relaxation. After one of their group disappears while on a solo cross-country hike, a mysterious local resident tells the remaining visitors that, in the waning days of World War II, a battalion of Nazi soldiers disappeared into the nearby woods after the residents turned on them, and that their zombified corpses remain on the prowl in the area.

The sequel, Dead Snow: Red vs. Dead, was just as much fun as with the help of some American zombie enthusiasts, our hero discovers some new techniques for fighting the undead. This being said, the third installment plans on topping the lot.
While promoting his new Netflix movie What Happened to Monday, director Tommy Wirkola updated EW on the status of Dead Snow 3 and revealed his big baddy.
“Just so you know, if you’re a fan of the Dead Snows, we’re hoping to make a third one in a few years. We’ve got to finish the trilogy, so I’m very excited about that. We’ve got to finish what we started, all of us! We have some ideas. I think it’s natural to maybe put some of the story in South America, where a lot of the Nazis fled, of course. We’ve got to top what we’ve done before. We have to bring back Hitler as well. Zombie-Hitler. That just feels natural.”
Given the recent traumatic events in Charlotsville, we wouldn’t mind seeing some Nazi’s getting their arse kicked.
