Well forget all that cods-wallop, because in a new survey women have revealed what the key to great sex really is.
Fertility app Kindara can officially tell us that it’s all down to having an emotional connection with your partner.
This was the highest scoring answer from women – while only a quarter said that foreplay was essential for some top notch nookie.
And no – that doesn’t mean Match of the Day, curry and a few cans followed by a quick fumble on the sofa.
More than half of the women surveyed said they were not having enough sex – and more than 75% said they wanted it more than three times a week.
The survey revealed the biggest hindrance to a good sex life was stress – with 39%, followed by self image problems and not being in the mood.
