University for most of us is a place people go to drink too much, study too little, pile up huge amounts of debt and maybe get a roll of paper after three years of partying.
However, wily Irish teenager Richard Wilson is on course to leave university a rather wealthier than most recent graduates.
The 19-year-old from Bangor, Northern Ireland, is preparing to UCL in September to study Business Information Systems and set up Milliondollarbillboard.club two weeks ago to help him buy studying ‘essentials’ like books and beer and it has reportedly already made him $60,000 (£40,000).
Not exactly an original concept, the site works by offering one million pixels for a dollar a pop – allowing companies that seem to think it’s the early 2000s opportunities to advertise online.
We’re not jealous exactly, it’s just that we wish it had been our idea…
