Game of Thrones is filming multiple endings according to Emilia Clarke

Even Daenerys doesn't know how it is going to end

Dadada-da dadada-da dadada-da dadada-da.

The final series of Game of Thrones is almost upon us and everything is still very much up in the air. Will Jon Snow defeat the Night King? Will Big Sam Tarly bounce back from his Everton sacking?

Will The Hound take on the The Mountain, will they both hack each other to bits, and then many thousands of years later someone will build a pub over their bones called The Hound & The Mountain, or The Mountain & The Hound, and will it serve a range of ales and pie and mash for a reasonable price? Will that happen? Will it?

In a new interview with The Hollywood Reporter Emilia Clarke is stirring the pot even more, revealing that co-creators David Benioff and D.B. Weiss could well be creating a host of fake endings to keep the grande finale completely under wraps, and they’re not even informing the cast of their likely diabolical plans.

“I don’t even know that I do now. I’m being serious. I think they’re filming a bunch of stuff and they’re not telling us. I’m being serious — I’m being deadly serious. I think that they don’t even trust us” Clarke said when asked if she knew how the show was going to end.

When questioned on who was going to end up on the Iron Throne she replied “No. I don’t even know. I read what I read last year — I’ve read those scripts. Holy moly. [It] took me a couple hours to come down from that. That was the most intense reading experience of my life.”

And as for the atmosphere on the set? Like the family table with the in-laws round: it’s cagey.

“People are saying something on set and you’re just like, ‘I think that they’re filming other stuff.’ And everybody’s being really cagey about it. And then there’s a lot of like ‘Wait why’re you — what are you — wait a second.’

“Cause there’s lots of different endings that could happen that I think that we’re all doing all of them and we aren’t being told which is actually what’s gonna happen,” Clarke added.

Let’s just put our collective hands together and pray, pray for the greatest love story of all time, Grey Worm and Missandei. If you hurt either of them, if you lay a finger on them David Benioff and D.B. Weiss, I will send you a very angry letter and a mildly graphic illustration. You have been warned.
