He appears to have dropped a major hint here
Luka Modric has been caught on camera saying “we’re waiting for you” to Neymar after Croatia’s 2-0 defeat to Brazil in a World Cup warm up game at Anfield over the weekend.
The Real Madrid star was pictured speaking to the Paris Saint-Germain forward during the tunnel after the game and television cameras captured footage of him telling the former Barcelona man, “Te esperamos, eh?”.
Neymar can then be seen letting out a little laugh in response.
Neymar left La Liga last August to sign with PSG, in a deal which was, at the time, a world record transfer fee. Since then however he has been continually linked with a move back to Spain, with many pundits speculating that the PSG move was merely a means to eventually transfer to the Santiago Bernabeu.
His time in France has also been blighted by consistent reports of discontent among Neymar’s teammates over his behaviour, with midfielder Adrien Rabiot claiming in February that both Neymar and striker partner Kylian Mbappe enjoy “privileges” at the Parc des Princes.
