Jeremy Clarkson has ‘apologised’ to Will Young after the singer accused Clarkson and his fellow Grand Tour presenters of making homophobic remarks on their Amazon Prime show.
Young hit out at 58-year-old Clarkson for a segment on The Grand Tour which featured a Wrangler Jeep with a pink roof and the Weather Girls song It’s Raining Men playing.
No word from @PrimeVideo so @Ofcom beckons . Enough is enough and I’m pissed and fed up. I want Amazonprime and the producers of grand tour to meet young lgbt who want to kill themselves because of shaming and laughter and normalising of shaming homophobic narratives..:

He along with fellow hosts James May and Richard Hammond commented drivers of such a car should “wear ventilated chaps” and “moisturise.”
Clarkson responded to Young’s comments in his column in The Sun this week.
“But this week, he went berserk on Twitter, saying that I’d been homophobic in the most recent episode of The Grand Tour,” Clarkson wrote.
“Many gay people who’d seen the show said they couldn’t see a problem. None of my leftie friends could either. One even said I should tell him to stop being so gay.
“I won’t do that though. And nor will I suggest, once again, that mobile phones should be fitted with breathalysers to stop people drinking and tweeting.”
Finishing his column, Clarkson wrote:”“No. Instead, I will apologise to Will for causing him some upset and reassure him that I know I’m not homophobic as I very much enjoy watching lesbians on the internet.”
