A bit of rain won’t stop this pair from using the beer garden.
Summer has long gone, and although we might not be in the full grips of winter just yet, plenty of the country has been drenched by heavy rain over the course of the weekend.
As a result, the river next to this pub – said to be the Kirkstall Bridge Inn in Leeds – has swelled so much that it’s burst its banks and flooded the beer garden.
But as this tweet shows, it’s going to take much more than this to stop these two dedicated patrons from enjoying a pint.

There actually are 2 men sitting waist-deep in a flooded pub garden in Leeds to finish their pints. I'm impressed. pic.twitter.com/k76lAXFKun

Within hours of the tweet first surfacing, the pair had received plenty of praise for their determination.
