Palmer ended the interview prematurely over GMB‘s choice to put ‘addict’ in the caption
Patsy Palmer’s appearance on Good Morning Britain today was cut short by the actress herself, after taking serious issue with the show’s choice of caption. Referring to her, it read: ‘addict to wellness guru’.
The caption seemed to reference issues surrounding alcoholism earlier in her career – unsurprisingly, completely unrelated to what she was invited on the show to talk about.
Palmer had been asked to weigh on the ever-unfolding Harry and Meghan story. After spotting the inflammatory and irrelevant caption, in her own words, Palmer said she was going to “do a real Piers Morgan”, before closing the lid of her laptop and ending the interview.

Both Susanna Reid and Ben Shepherd (who has currently replaced the controversial ex-host) were quick to apologise for the caption. Shepherd went on to say that they had “no intention” of offending her and that the line was supposedly a quote from her book.
Regardless, it seems GMB has once again leaned towards agitation over information. Prior to ending the call, Palmer said those “issues were talked about by me many, many years ago” and that it was “not ok” to insert that into such a separate discussion.
