If you had to guess the biggest killer of men under the age of 45, suicide would probably not be your first suggestion.
But it was responsible for the deaths of 4,623 men in 2014. When you break down that sobering statistic that’s one man taking his own life every two hours.
The ‘Bigger Issues’ campaign has been launched to remove the stigma around discussing suicide and depression, with the subject set to be debated in Parliament for the first time.
Celebrities such as Professor Green and The Rock have spoken candidly on the topic, which has been raised on Twitter to coincide with International Men’s Day.
