Visitors are fuming at this disappointing ‘Winter Wonderland’

'Why are they burning a man in a wheelchair?'

Simon Lloyd

If the viral videos of Americans kicking the sh*t out of each other on Black Friday didn’t fill you with festive cheer, feast your eyes on this tale of a shockingly bad ‘Winter Wonderland’?

Just as it has become tradition for many to share the precise moment they see the Coca-Cola advert on their Facebook page, stories of these overpriced underwhelming events is fast becoming part of the British Christmas run-in.

This one comes from The Woburn Luminaries, at Woburn Abbey in Bedfordshire.

The promise of ‘animated fire sculptures, a black light trail and over 30 boutique stalls’ enticed many to the event but a quick glance at the event’s Facebook page and it’s clear that a few of the visitors have been left disappointed by the event.

According to the Daily Mirror, one of the event’s younger visitors became confused by one of the sculptures on show, asking why a man in a wheelchair had been set on fire.

Unfortunately, the reactions on Twitter weren’t much better…

Merry Christmas everyone.
