The untimely death of David Bowie has seen tributes flood in from around the globe, but one of the more notable messages comes from a man that shares Bowie’s London routes.
Heralding from Leytonstone, former England captain David Beckham was born on the other side of the River Thames to Brixton-born Bowie.
Just hours after Bowie’s death was confirmed, Beckham used his Instagram page to pay tribute to him, describing him as a ‘creative genius’.
