Hodor!
One particular moment in the latest Game Of Thrones episode proved a major talking point amongst fans of the show afterwards, but it wasn’t the only interesting thing to go down in the second episode of season six.
The deaths of Balon Greyjoy and Roose Bolton, for example, could have quite an impact down the line, while there was also a heartwarming scene where viewers got to see what Hodor – or Wylis – was like as a young fella when he was a stable boy in Winterfell.

In the scene – one of Bran’s flashbacks – Wylis was heard to speak and was about to engage in a training duel with Benjen Stark before being dragged away by ‘Old Nan’. When Bran awoke, he turned to Hodor and told him he had heard him speak, but was met with the now traditional response.
Redditors have been speculating about Hodor’s transformation since the episode, with one, TazoGreenTea, suggesting that he might have been a warg, a person with the ability to enter the minds of animals and control their actions.
The Redditor in question supports the theory with a number of incidents from previous episodes – you can read it full here – and there does seem to be a fair bit of credibility behind it, particularly Hodor’s identification with horses and how it has affected him since.
All is likely to be revealed in future episodes, of course and until then, all we can say is… Hodor, Hodor, Hodor, Hodor, Hodor.
One more time…
