This is unfortunate. This is really, really unfortunate.
A man with a whopping great wet patch on his trousers just happened to stand, arms crossed, directly in front of a Google Street View camera as it patrolled the streets.
Buddy.
There is arguably never an opportune moment to stand in broad daylight looking very much like you’ve taken a leak in your kegs, but this has to be most inopportune.
As it turns out, the poor dude in the photo was well aware that he’d been photographed by Google’s vehicle, and knowing that he’d soon be the all over the internet for millions of people to see, he immediately began covering his tracks.
Joshua Justice, manager of Flying Saucer Draught Emporium in Houston, Texas, informed Houstonia Mag that he’d posted a Facebook status about the picture two months before it was published. And according to him, he hadn’t pissed himself at all.
He wrote back then:
“I just poured half a cleaning keg all over my pants. Went outside to stand in the sun … as a Google maps car drove by. Look for me on Street View soon. I’ll be the guy that looks like he pissed himself.”
We don’t know what’s worse: having the world know you’ve wet your trousers, or having the world think you did when you genuinely didn’t. Either way it’s not ideal.
Maybe use the hand dryer in the Gents next time. Google can’t get you there. We hope.
