This 300-year-old child saint’s corpse appears to blink and people are freaking out

Freaky...

We’re not surprised some people are a little freaked out by this.

A video has surfaced online which appears to show the 300-year-old corpse of a child saint in Mexico opening its eyes and blinking.

The body of the young Catholic girl is preserved in wax in the Cathedral of Guadalajara in Jalisco in Mexico where tourists can come and pay their respects.

Santa Inocencia, or ‘Saint Innocence’, is facing towards the camera in her white ceremonial gown when it appears she blinks for a moment.

Legend has it that the child was stabbed to death by her father after she was caught having her First Communion with nuns in secret after he forbade her to practice Catholicism.

Some people are obviously freaked out by the video, which appears to have been shot in 2012, but many more are quite rightly sceptical given the age of CGI and Photoshop.

Poster ireneam1 wrote: ‘Requirements to record a paranormal event: to get the cheapest possible camera, set it to have the lowest quality, remove any lighting that can help to look good and of course, while recording is important not to move the camera.’

PP Baltierra adds: ‘What a coincidence that when you open and close your eyes it becomes a fuzzy video…haha.’

Sara Johana Bravo Toro, wrote simply: ‘The devil wants to impress.’

It’s not surprising though that many people believe this paranormal activity is indeed a fake…
