Adele is destroying so many music records there’s almost too many to list.
The most notable this week however is that ’25’, has become the fastest album to sell a million copies in the UK, beating the record previously held by Oasis for their third album Be Here Now, which took 17 days to reach the mark in 1997.
Incredibly 25 sold over 300,000 copies in the UK in its first 24 hours. Across the pond, sales are unprecedented.
Nielsen Music say that 25 has sold at least 650,000 copies in its second week on sale – combine that to the 3.38million sold in its first week and the Tottenham-born star has shifted more than 4million albums in the US.
Let’s all go to Adele’s for Christmas.
