Who wants to make a childhood dream come true?
If you were raised during the ’90s, it’s very likely that your weekend TV routine was set in stone, especially if you were watching Channel 4.
Cast your mind back to an era when Football Italia, The Adventures of Tintin and The Crystal Maze were all on the box.
There really was no excuse to change the channel!
Following the news that the supremely talented Richard Ayoade will be hosting a new series of The Crystal Maze, our excitement levels have reached fever pitch. The reboot was amazing and our hopes couldn’t be any higher for this new version of the beloved show.
Aside from the incredibly detailed sets, fiendish games and sense of adventure, the real joy from watching The Crystal Maze was seeing contestants failing miserably at their tasks.
Didn’t we all get a sadistic pleasure from watching those unfortunate people slipping, falling, becoming incredibly frustrated or failing to complete their task in the allocated time?
If you and your mates fancy being the new batch of contestants that have to navigate the Aztec, Medieval, Industrial and Future zones, here are all the details you need.
The producers are looking for some eager participants and the closing date for applications is March 1.
Best of luck!
