Game of Thrones Season 6 has plenty of questions that it needs to answer.
Is Jon Snow really dead? Is Arya’s blindness permanent or just a way to teach her to become nobody? And where the hell is Benjen Stark?
With Season 5’s finale leaving us with more questions than answers, it’s no surprise that the date of the first airing of Season 6 has been the subject of great interest.
Although we may still have to wait a good while before it begins, we can at least now pencil in April 2016 to our diaries.
A tweet from Sky Atlantic confirmed that next April will see the tales of Westeros return to our screens – but also may have given away a key plot point by including the dead-but-not-really-dead-until-we-see-his-body-burned Jon Snow as the focus of the image.
We’re already counting down.
