It just wouldn’t be Ghostbusters without Bill Murray.
The eccentric actor starred in the original film back in 1984 and the second incarnation which hit screens in 1989.
And as we all know, there isn’t a movie out there that couldn’t be made better with a splash of Murray…
It was pretty disheartening then to hear the 64-year-old wasn’t keen on taking up his role as Dr Peter Venkman for the third film, which is out in July 2016. (We say he wasn’t keen, he actually called it a ‘nightmare’).
But the Hollywood Reporter claims he’s now had a massive change of heart and looks to have taken a role in Ghostbusters 3, which also stars Kristen Wiig and Chris Hemsworth.
He’ll be in good company alongside original cast member Dan Akroyd who has already shot a cameo with Wiig.
