Netflix are trolling any new Friends fans that find the show offensive

Paul Moore

Could they BE any more cutting?

Much like Joey’s best intentions to fight turning 30 – why God, why!?!? – a sure sign that you’re getting old is the fact that younger generations are only discovering Friends now. Much like any TV show or film, the sitcom was a very much product of the ’90s.

Demi Moore haircuts, the novelty of owning a laptop, Hootie and the Blowfish gigs and Baywatch all featured in the lives of the world’s most beloved New Yorkers.

Not to mention the Beavis and Butt-Head marathons while having a Cheeto stuck to your face.

This being said, as reported previously, plenty of younger generations that are only seeing it for the first time have accused it of being homophobic and odd.

Granted, what’s accepted as the societal and cultural norms will change with every new generation and certain aspects of Friends haven’t aged too well.

This being said, Netflix decided to address these concerns by reimagining potential Friends plotlines for the modern generation.

Do you think Netflix are sorry?
