Freddy Krueger could be making a return to the big screen as an all-new version of A Nightmare on Elm Street is said to be in the works.
The last instalment of the franchise, from Michael Bay in 2010, received a panning from critics. Despite this, it still managed to pull in a sizeable profit from huge viewing figures at the box office.
New Line Cinema are believed to have started work on the latest version, hiring David Leslie Johnson as the script writer.
