Donald Trump and Paul Ryan’s plans to repeal and replace Obamacare came to a grinding halt on Friday, when the Speaker had to yank the bill.
It had become clear that the Republicans didn’t have enough support within their own party for the bill to pass in the House of Representatives.
Paul Ryan was forced to rush to the White House to inform Donald Trump that the American Health Care Act (the proposed replacement of Obama’s Affordable Care Act) would fail if it went to a vote.
He was then instructed to pull the bill so that it wouldn’t fail on the floor.
It was later reported on Twitter that after Paul Ryan hopped into his car, having refused to answer questions, that he immediately began to listen to Papa Roach’s song “Last Resort.”
While the report is unverified, Papa Roach latched onto the opportunity to stick the proverbial knife into Ryan, tweeting:
