When word got out about a Friends reunion earlier this month, the Internet nearly exploded.
Then our hearts were broken all over again when we discovered that it wasn’t actually a reunion per se and that Matthew Perry wouldn’t be in attendance, but there was still plenty of excitement about the reunion of the cast of probably the most popular sitcom of all-time.
The reason behind the reunion is a special tribute to the man behind many episodes of Friends and a number of memorable US TV shows such as Cheers, Taxi and Frasier, James Burrows, who recently shot his 1,000th TV episode.
On Sunday night, Kaley Cuoco – who plays Penny on The Big Bang Theory, another Burrow production – shared a snap of the stars of both shows huddling together ahead of the February 21 airing.
