Great news for fans of the MCU
The Marvel Cinematic Universe is really putting a lot of its effort into television shows these days.
This could be due to the fact that all of its biggest movie releases have been seriously delayed thanks to Covid-19, and as a result, they are putting some eggs in other superhero baskets.
And based on the success of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., fans have reason to be excited about the latest TV releases from Marvel.
Which is why are very happy to learn that Samuel L. Jackson will be playing Nick Fury in a new series on Disney+.
The exact plot details of the show are being kept under wraps for now, but Variety has reported that Kyle Bradstreet is attached to write and executive produce.
No release date is being thrown around just yet, but we can’t imagine it will be on our screens anytime in the next 12 months.
This news comes just days after the trailer for WandaVision was released, showcasing what appears to be one of the creepiest things to ever come from the MCU.
WandaVision, which will follow Elizabeth Olsen’s Scarlet Witch and Paul Bettany’s Vision, will also be available to watch on Disney+.
Unfortunately, another MCU television show, The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, was due to be released in August of 2020, but it was delayed indefinitely, and is now not expected to be released until 2021.
