SoulTwins: Tune for the Weekend

Nooruddean Choudry

Each week our resident DJs, the Soultwins, select a classic record from their extensive collection to get you in the mood for the weekend…

It’ll All Come Around – Patsy Gallant

Soultwin Stu:

“It’s stuff like this that makes me absolutely love DJing.

“The story of this record’s popularity stems from a lad who worked at Fat City Records in Manchester by the name of Darren Laws. He felt that this little-known track needed more exposure and so began spinning it at Manchester’s legendary Friends & Family night, mainly as the end-of-nighter – and it went huge!

“The reaction to it at the last ever F&F night was incredible – it was a full crowd sing-a-long! Forza discovering new music! It’s MINT!”

Soultwin Jeff:

“I can’t really add much to what Stu said here.

“Being at that last ever Friends & Family night was just pure joy. A sea of smiling faces on the dancefloor (and behind the decks), with everyone in the room just buzzin’ off the music.

“I spent the entire night grinning, dancing like a loon and surrounded by great people who I would never have met without being into this music. I love Manchester!”
