Disney have confirmed that Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens will be released a day earlier than expected in the UK.
British movie-goers will get their first chance to see the latest installment in the Star Wars franchise when Episode VII hits theatres on December 17 – the day before it is released in the US.
If you’re really dying to find out what has happened to Luke, Leia, Han and Chewy in the 30 years since the events of Return of the Jedi, you can always head over to France where The Force Awakens is set for a theatrical release on December 16.
Until then, we’ll have to satisfy ourselves with watching the trailer another thousand times.
