Could we see him coupling up in the Love Island villa?
Piers Morgan is to remain with ITV, despite leaving Good Morning Britain in the wake of comments made regarding Meghan Markle.
After Harry and Meghan’s interview with Oprah Winfrey, in which Markle opened up about experiencing suicidal thoughts during her lowest moments in Britain, Morgan said he “didn’t believe a word she said.”
Understandably, this proved controversial with over 41,000 people complaining to Ofcom about the remarks.
The mental health charity Mind expressed concern about Morgan comments.

Piers attempted to clarify his comments.
He said: “On mental illness and suicide, these are clearly extremely serious things and should be taken extremely seriously. And, if someone is feeling that way, they should get the treatment and the help that they need every time.
“If they belong to an institution, like the Royal Family, and they go and seek that help, they should absolutely be given it.”
He said he still didn’t believe her, however.
On Monday, I said I didn’t believe Meghan Markle in her Oprah interview. I’ve had time to reflect on this opinion, and I still don’t. If you did, OK. Freedom of speech is a hill I’m happy to die on. Thanks for all the love, and hate. I’m off to spend more time with my opinions. pic.twitter.com/bv6zpz4Roe

Many called for him to be sacked. He was reportedly pressured to issue an apology, but refused.
A formal complaint was then lodged by representatives of Meghan Markle, which likely resulted in Morgan’s departure from Good Morning Britain.
In a statement, ITV said: “Following discussions with ITV, Piers Morgan has decided now is the time to leave Good Morning Britain.”
“ITV has accepted this decision and has nothing further to add.”
While Piers Morgan will no longer be a part of Good Morning Britain, he is set to remain with ITV.
i News report that the 55-year-old will continue fronting certain programmes for ITV, including his celebrity interview show Life Stories.
Morgan said that his one goal when joining Good Morning Britain was to beat BBC Breakfast in ratings. He achieved this on his final day in the job.
I had one goal when I joined @GMB – beat @BBCBreakfast in the ratings.
On my last day, we did it.
That was down to the hard work & dedication of the whole team.
They don't all agree with me, some don't even like me, but we were a team..and we won.
Thanks guys. I'll miss you. pic.twitter.com/eOOmoZfmPT— Piers Morgan (@piersmorgan) March 11, 2021
