Now that’s out of way, we’re free to discuss the fact that Jon Snow is totally alive.
We all kind of knew it would happen, but it was finally confirmed for us that the former Lord Commander of the Night’s Watch has been brought back from the dead to sulk another season.
In fairness to the creators of Game of Thrones, they did their best to keep it a secret despite the fact we all knew it was definitely happening.
Even when Lady Melisandre finally brought Jon back, the show tried its best to make us think her attempts had failed.
All those present for the ritual gave up and left the room one by one as Jon lay naked and motionless on the table, until he suddenly took a deep breath and returned to the land of the living.
You might have assumed that lying naked in frosty Castle Black wouldn’t be very comfortable for actor Kit Harrington, but you’d assume wrong.
As this behind-the-scenes image shows, Harrington was not, in fact, naked as he shot the scene. But more than that – not only was he not naked, but he was wearing a pair of uggs and some hideous sweatshorts.
