Everybody remembers the eight-year-old American boy dubbed ‘the strongest child in the world’, right?
How could you forget a youngster with the chiselled abs of a pro bodybuilder?
Richard Sandrak (or Little Hercules to his friends) honed that pre-pubescent physique thanks to a pretty hardcore-looking weights programme dreamed up by his dad.
Fifteen years has passed since those photos went around the world (they call it ‘going viral’ now), showing little Richard hitting big weights and generally looking like a vertically challenged Arnold Schwarzenegger.
You’re probably thinking he’s an absolute monster by now with a 12-pack and biceps that could pop a watermelon.
Well, you’d be wrong. He actually just looks like a regular guy – almost ‘Dad Bod’ territory.
It turns out Richard’s dad went to jail and the youngster got pretty bored of hitting the gym and impressing everyone with those guns.
He quit the gym aged 11 and now just dabbles in some pull-ups, hill sprints and skateboarding.
It looks like he gets his kicks in other ways though. Now 23, Richard gets set on fire for a living.
If there’s a cooler job than fire diver at the Universal Studios Hollywood Water World show then we want to know about it.
Who needs abs anyway?
