We’re sure plenty of you have chiseled out superhuman physiques during quarantine, but for those of us who went the other way during lockdown, finding new snacks was about as exciting as life got.
That being said, there’s about to be all manner of people caving in when they hear the news that Jaffa Cake doughnuts are a real thing. Invented by the marvellous minds over at McVitie’s, the much-loved biscuit that isn’t quite a biscuit but more of a cake is now neither, as you can now buy ‘Jaffa Jonuts’.
Just take my money already.

Perhaps the best part about the whole thing (you know, except for the whole Jaffa Cake meets a doughnut part) is that this absolutely premium product is going to be available from just 60 pence.
That’s right, Jaffa Jonuts will be on Tesco shelves up and down the country from May 16th, and you can either buy boxes of four for around £1.99 or individually wrapped single packs for 60p. Other retailers are also set to start stocking them from the end of June – and we thought we were excited for the Euros!

This isn’t the first time they’ve tried to innovate on what is, let’s face it, already a classic chocolate treat: you have been able to buy Jaffa Cake Bars and Mini Rolls as well as passionfruit and cherry variations on the original 1927 recipe for some time now.
However, there’s something about this combo that just really floats our boat. They initially teased the genius creation on May 6th, with a pretty transparent teaser, showing a simple silhouette that was more than enough to send fans wild.
