Rich, in every sense.
We’re all for fine wines and gourmet foods in the JOE office – just last week, we paired a nice glass of Buckfast with some Easi Singles for a classic Christmas treat – but this is a bit excessive.
A restaurant in New York has created a pizza worth a staggering $250-a-slice, or $2,000 in total.
Industry Kitchen is located on the East River next to the historic South Street Seaport, and they serve good food and mostly reasonable prices.
Then you get to the pizza, which they have named the ’24K’.

The ’24K’ contains edible gold flake, white stilton cheese, Ossetra caviar from the Caspian Sea, and truffles and Fois Gras from France.
You wouldn’t eat two of them.
The restaurant states on its menu that you must order the pizza 48 hours in advance; incidentally, the items just above and below it on the menu are a €20 salmon and a €19 lasagne.
