Along with the Samba, the Gazelle and the Superstar, it is one of the most iconic trainers in their famous trefoil collection.
But now Adidas are ready to sue a rival company for what they see as a blatant rip-off of their classic Stan Smith trainer.
According to ESPN Sports Business Reporter Darren Rovell, the German sportswear brand have filed a lawsuit against Skechers for a design they feel is a clear copy of the famous tennis shoe.
