Amazon aren’t hanging around on their quest to be promoted into the Premier League to compete with Netflix.
The internet company has announced a new perk for its Prime members – offering Showtime and Starz, unbundled and affordable.
It’s called the ‘Streaming Partners Program’ and allows Prime members to add subscription programming from close to 20 partners for an added fee to their Prime video service.
Consumers will be able to pick and choose these add-ons on an a la carte basis, and change their lineup month to month.
It’s believed customers will be able to navigate their entertainment options quickly and easily. It can take more time choosing what you want to view than watching it, we’d welcome anything that lessens the time on that.
