McDonald’s have rolled the dice by changing one crucial element of the legendary Egg McMuffin.
But now Cadbury are about to toy with the very fabric of one of our favourite chocolate bars.
They’re throwing caution to the wind with a bold move to change the flavour of their classic Fruit & Nut bar.

They have announced plans to add …wait for it… sultanas to the mix to ‘add more variation’.
Raisins have traditionally provided the chewy element in a Fruit & Nut, appearing happily alongside crunchy almonds since 1926, but come the end of this month, chocoholics can expect to find the sweet, golden-coloured dried grapes in there too.
Sultanas might be a controversial choice, but the company have denied their addition is a ploy to combat the rising price of cocoa by bulking out the bar and promise a product with the exact same chocolate content as before. Phew.
Explaining the decision, a spokesperson for Cadbury said: ‘It’s important we have a flexible supply of the dried fruit we use in our famous Fruit & Nut bars to both retain quality and ensure it’s still an affordable treat.
‘Many consumers noticed no change in taste when trying both bars, stating both sultanas and raisins were just as tasty as each other.’
