Flirting is something that a lot of British people find difficult enough to master.
We’re actually pretty charming people if we be ourselves and let our sense of humour shine, but if we try and be all smooth and suave like the French and Italians, we fall apart.
That’s why this latest research might interest all the single gents out there.

- Maintaining eye contact
- Paying someone a compliment
- Teasing someone
- Looking at someone and then looking away
- Asking someone for help
- Complimenting someone only on their appearance
- Buying them a drink
- Chatting to someone about the place you are in
- Text them after meeting them
- Be tactile with them
